Who wants to go to heaven?

In the battle between the forces of Darkness and Light, sometimes there are shades of gray and not everything is what it appears to be. Eternity can seem like , well, an eternity. UPRISING continues the story of the WINGED and, while not entirely necessary, I'd recommend reading that first.
Fans of L.M. Pruitt won't be disappointed. UPRISING is a roller coaster ride of ups and downs and unexpected twists and turns that's hard to put down. Who wants to go to heaven?
Caution: Contains adult material not suitable for younger readers.

an interesting turn - remember its FICTION!!

ok second book in the series.
this is very different to the first. You tend to forget that youre reading about Angels and the Winged and all that is supposed to be good.
Theres a rebellion starting. Some of the Winged dont think theyre being treated fairly, and the archangels are mearly brushing their feelings aside and ignoring them....
not a wise move.
A line is drawn and the fact is either "youre with them, or your against them"..there is no "Switzerland" that Joanne wants to be.
As with the first book there are training exercises based on real wars/battles etc.....except this one goes horribly wrong due to the rebellion.....
It starts to show a different side to the archangel and all that is meant to be good, supportive and kind up there.
Not what i expected. and i say it again, remember its fiction - people are saying its far fetched, but when reading about werewolves, vamps they enjoy them...so theyre NOT far fetched!
its just a very different angle and its an interesting read.
Im already onto the third book "LOST". im not sure i this is the last one or not, but wow, this one takes yet another turn...
The Joanne we first met....is not the same Joanne we see now...

This book is a "must" buy and part of a "keeper" series!!

Purely by chance, I encountered Author L.M. Pruitt's writing in the Jude Magdalyn series. As a result of that happy event, this writer is now on my "must buy" list. The series' premise of humans, angels, politics, battles, romance, and intrigue, is completely fulfilled with this author's writing. The plot is innovative, the characters are believable - and fascinating - and the series is such a unique "take" on angels. While I am not a fan of author comparisons; if you are a fan of Singh's "Guild Hunter" series, I see the same wonderful writing, entertaining, and interesting characters,with this series.
I'm very happy to have discovered this writer, and I am even more happy to have access to these books when they release in print format. There are some authors that I have on my "must buy" paper list...and I just added L.M. Pruitt to the group.
