early 1990s (Prof Martin Guterman, we miss
you dearly).
Comprehensive and outstanding introduction
to Discrete Mathematics. Written in 1989 but
don't let its age discourage you as the material
and presentation are timeless.

Discrete Mathematics

This is a friendly book for both non-Math and Math majors alike.
This book is not to be used as a substitute for a course in foundations of higher mathematics. I think this book is essential for those Math majors planning to take Probability sometime soon in the future.
